    It would be better if you'll seek an advice to lawyers instead of asking the HR lady. You should have received any notice in the first place. It's your right to be informed.

    As per my perspective, it will depend upon the current circumstances. It will be up to the employer where you were work for the same. I am quietly shocked that you think you should be entitled to have kept your insurance for the year.
