Default green card with a B1/B2 visa

Hi,
I'm an U.S. Citizen, how lived abroad since I was 5. Now with a family I want to get back to U.S., my husband and children have B1/B2 visas, we're planning to travel to U.S. and when we get there I fill a petition for them. My question is: Will there be any problems if they enter to U.S. with a B1/B2 visa and later i ask a green card for them? I know there are immigrants visas, but since I don't live in U.S. and without a background or history there, getting a tourist visa was the easy way for them. Thanks.
