Thread: Driving with only a Permit

Well the day started like any other day. I am 16 years old by the way. Me and my little brother was getting ready for school. When we were done i tried knocking on my mom room to tell her to get ready, but she was taking longer than usual because she wasn't feeling well. So i decided to help my mom out by taking my little brother to the bus stop real quick and come back. On my way there I saw these two motorcycle cops posting ahead of me. I panic because i never been in a car alone and i knew i only had my permit and no License. So i dropped off my little brother and i tried making a U turn so the cops wont see me but i didn't look back and a car honked at me and that's when the cops saw me and pulled me over. I feel real bad because i just wanted to help my mom and now i want to know if they will suspend my License privileges .

It depends on which state you live in, but driving without a license is a serious offense that usually will effect your driving privileges. You need to pay off the tickets immediately and get everything settled or else your driving privileges will be taken and you won't be able to get your license right away.

In new jersey, you have to go through your permit phase without getting a ticket or else you wont get your license.

What they can do is suspend your license if you get caught, and make you wait longer to get it, since driving is a privilage. Just wait it out, and dont chance it cause if somebody hits your car, youre in trouble.

You can get pulled over for almost any little thing. Just wait a little longer, cause if you do get caught and they suspend your license, then you have to wait even longer.

Everyone hate to depending on other people, it's really frustrating that you have to inconvenience other people.

Driving without license is a big offense you shouldn't drive without license

I wouldn't know how you can get away from this situation. Driving without a motor vehicle license is a serious offence. To tell you the true, people that pull a u'y when they see a cops are people how are nervous because they have something to hide. Cops know this, thats why your in the trouble you are in right now.

Driving with only a permit is dangerous when you have an accident you will be the one to be blamed when you don't have a license

Always drive when you are allowed to drive or having a license.
