I'm defending myself in a seatbelt ticket...got a question.

I am defending myself in a seatbelt ticket.I want to know if I should wait til my first court date to announce I'm representing myself? Or should I submit it prior to my first court date? I would like to file for discovery and review the radio transmissions and the video footage of the police car if applicable.I want to set it for a quick trial. When I do request the the video footage and the transmissions is there a form I use or do I just write it down? Is there a way to know whether or not there is footage and radio transmissions prior to court?

you cannot do anything until your first court date. There is nothing you can do in advance.
