How high do income taxes have to get before Americans just stop working?

If you add up all the taxes you pay now, Fed. Income tax, FICA, Social Security, State tax, City tax, Local tax, Property tax, Sales tax, Gas tax, etc., already most of your income goes toward paying taxes.

What percentage will be too much. Will you work when every penny you earn goes to pay your taxes or will you just say to hell with it all?

Our half my income goes in paying taxes like electricity bill, water bill and etc. I was think that it is really hard deal if you pay lots and lots taxes.

Even though a very large part of our income goes to taxes, it's still better to keep 50% of your income than to have nothing at all. People will always be willing to work even if they barely end up with any money, because we all need money to live. I don't think anyone is going to stop working due to the high tax rates.
