We have been aggressively hitting the web doing marketing and branding. I am curious what other bankruptcy attorneys are doing that is helping you to market your firm. Looks like pretty much the same thing you are doing. TV spots are expensive. Other types of media are ineffective. I think internet marketing is where it is at.

I have been doing bankruptcies for about a year. I have been advertising on the internet and I am ranked #1 on Google for my area and on the first page (usually #2 or 3) on bing, yahoo, etc... I am also on the first page of YP.com

I am also running a 1/2 page ad in the local yellow pages.

The problem is that I am hardly getting any calls (maybe 2-3 a month).

I just don't get it. What am I doing wrong?

Prior to last year I had a strong criminal practice going, but I just needed a break from that area of the law. I had used internet marketing almost exclusively and was doing really well. Now it just seems like nothing I do has any effect. (Yeah, I'm getting a bit depressed about my situation).

I personally find that online marketing is one of the successful tool to market your firm. It gives you a chance to reach among thousands of people. It also provides you clear cut communication and also leads to product innovation. Your idea is good, but there also many ways to generate leads to earn some money. You can focus on online market they are really good. Every person these days are doing the same. If you are missing from online it means you are losing your business. It's time to think seriously.
