    letting go a property?!?!?

    hello,

my husband and I bought a property a few years back in a retirement development community out in the country (it's just a lot)... At the time we could afford it but now, the interest is too high and I can't seem to find any bank that will refinance it at a lower rate. We are thinking about letting it go, but I am afraid of the consequences.

I am not sure if they are any, I live in texas. I don;t wanna loose my current home, or have major issues with IRS, etc. I haven't fallen behind in payments but we have recently experiences some looses so, I am anticipating for the future. what is the best way to approach this without getting things so out of hand? I have tried to listed and try to sell it but no luck for the past 6 months.

    Any recommendations? suggestions?

Why don't you go for a broker? I think you can get better solution through having a broker. He'll charge you up to an extent but you can get solution..

Why don't you try to consult attorney or a broker on this issue. I'm sure they will work things out on this.. I hope you are doing well right now.. Good luck!!

I agree with "allvira" why don't go to a broker or lawyer, because on that way you will understand every details that you needed for you to come up with a solution.. a positive maybe...

how was it? have you consulted a lawyer or a broker? does your problem solved already?
consulting to a lawyer/broker about the issue will help you solve it in no time..
sometimes it's better to lose the argument than lose the person or the relationship.

Property may be tangible or intangible, but it is owned by an entity and is therefore considered an asset or a liability attributable to that entity.
