Default Harrasment

Hello people,
I have a signed contract stating rent is due in the first of the month, no later than the 10th. I have been living in the home for a year now. Later on, the landlord informed me that I pay the rent as late as the 15th of the month. This arrangement was made verbally via phone and never transferred to paper.

I received a phone call from the landlords daughter, whom I have never spoken to and never met. The verbal arrangement between the landlord and I was not acceptable according to the daughter of the landlord. Is this considered a form of harassment??
Please let me know.
Regards,
