Post Injury at sea, to do:

Injury at sea is not an uncommon happening. Some may say that injuries at sea is rare and cannot in any way be likened to injuries sustained at land or in air.

As a fact of life, people may be injured in different places and for whatever reasons. People may get injured by accident or by natural calamity or due to someone else’s negligence. For then, it may be worth to consider knowing the right thing to do when it arises.

It is basic in all situations that when you are injured you must seek timely medical attention as possible. Your instinct would force you to do that.

When you are still able, make sure you fill out an accident report immediately after the accident occurs. In that, you must fill out all the necessary information that you know that may have caused your accident. If not possible, you may still accomplish the report a few days after you have taken the needed medical attention.

Though it is hard to do this after the startling event, you really must do it.

Always remember not to talk to anyone about how your accident occurred after you fill out the accident report. Reason: to protect your rights and to avoid variations of your statement. At that instance you are vulnerable to commit misstatements.

When you are well enough and able, you must consult an injury lawyer to ask assistance and legal help. Speak with a lawyer for guidance.

These valuable aids are quick but illuminating. Hope this would help you with your predicaments.
