    Brain Injuries

Our brain is considered the most vital part of our body; it controls all of our bodily activities that enable us to perform our daily duties and responsibilities. More so, it is one of the most delicate among our organs. Thus, a slight bump in our heads may result to serious ailments such as severe headache and paralysis and in some cases, may cause to the abrupt death of a person.

These incidents initiate the pain and suffering of the victims. Furthermore, these brain injuries hamper them from performing their jobs and spending their leisure time with their loved ones. These are the reasons why we should protect our heads at all times by taking all the necessary precaution in whatever undertakings we do.

On the other hand, the injury may be even more agonizing if brought about by other party

    Brain Injuries

Traumatic brain injuries are classified based on severity, location, and other injury characteristics. TBI can result from a closed or penetrating head injury; a closed (also called nonpenetrating, or blunt) injury occurs when the skull is not breached, while a penetrating head injury occurs when an object pierces the skull and breaches the dura mater, the outermost of the membranes surrounding the brain. Bone fragments may cause penetrating injuries when the skull is fractured.

Also boxers has high risk of having brain injury. I have known of boxers who got brain injuries. Recently, Pilipino boxer Z Gorres was hit by his opponent in their fight in his head. Although he won the match, he suddenly collapsed and laid on the floor. He rushed to the hospital and operated. His case is very serious. Because of this punch, he will never step again in boxing ring to fight. His dreams were lost in just a punch. He's just one of many boxers who shares the same fate with him. Good to know he doesn't died. A serious hit will surely bring a person in critical situation.
