Thread: Can a lawyer help me? DWI

DWI was in 2007, i was put on 2 years probation and 1 year of license suspension. i completed a dwi assessment and completed 40 hours of dwi class's. I have spent almost $2000.00 trying to get everything straightend out with this case so i can get my lic. back and now the DWI consultant whom i did my class's with says i have to get another assessment done because i was caught driving with revoked lic.(wich i can understand). However, i got that charge before i did my assessment and before i completed the class's . So basically what is happening is that i am going to be made to do class's all over again and be forced to dish out another $1,000.00.

i dont really understand why i must have yet another assessment done for driving with license revoked...

Can a lawyer get my case heard with any possibility of gettin my lic. reinstated

Have you try to talk to the officer concerned; ask them to explain to you the rules and regulation and if you think that they voilated your right, then you should ask a lawyer to help you deal with them.
