STUDENT AND CONFUSED, what can I do?
I have a situation where the school I withdrew from is not letting me go without clearing my tuition balance.
After speaking with the Senior Student Finance Representative and the Director of Education I am still skeptical.
I have done a few mistakes in dealing with this situation, so I am not willing to pay a lawyer YET because I feel that because of my mistakes in dealing with the situation there can only be so much that a lawyer might be able to help me out with.
To summarize my case, I have tried to reason and explain. But failed. So I doubt bringing in a lawyer will help because these people are out to charge me regardless.
What can my next step be?
If it helps, I have the e-mails sent between me and Sen. Student Finance Rep. that include more details about my issue.

I am trying to have the outstanding tuition reversed, and my loans cancelled.
When I spoke with the Finance Rep. at school her tone of voice was rushing off, trying to get me to not worry about this tuition balance.
When I withdrew from the school the Director of Education provided a worksheet saying the tuition was reversed, when I spoke with the Finance Rep. she showed me a ledger that didn't show the tuition reversed, but instead it shows the outstanding balance.
Since I withdrew from the school after attending 3 courses, I was told that someone withdrawing from the school at this point would not be charged of tuition in full.
The Director of Education is providing me with information, and so is the Finance Rep.
In the end the result is total confusion, because even though I'm being told that I won't be charged for tuition, and that my tuition has been reversed, I am also being shown an outstanding balance.

Every school and university has rules and regulatios regarding this matter, true that you dont have to pay what you didn't take, but there are certain amount I believe you have to pay. Ask again the Finance Representative to explain things, and let them know also your side, dont be afraid to ask, and ask politely...
