Default Forged Signatures

I recently learned that my sister forged my signature and my brother's signature on a Waiver of Hearing Notice in 2002. As a result of doing this, she ended up getting guardianship of my niece. The waiver of Hearing Notice was for a Guardianship Hearing where I would have had opportunity to object to her obtaining guardianship. Is there anything that I can do about the forgery.

The end result is that my sister has techically kidnapped my niece. My younger sister died in 1998 at which time she asked me to take guardianship of my niece. Everyone in our family agreed that the sister that has done the forgery should never had had our niece. As she is a very controlling and abusive person. My niece is afraid of the sister who went to court and got guardianship.

At the time that my younger sister passed, I did not take my niece as my sister wanted because my niece was only 4 at the time and I lived in another city. The only anchor and bond that my niece had was her grandmother (my mother). It would not have been in my nieces best interest to up root her to another city at that time, even though she knew me and loved me. My niece was glued to my mother and my mother was given guardianship of my niece.
I had asked my mother to work with me to obtain guardianship , should my mother pass before my niece became of age. Unfortunately, our mother passed last year. Lauren is 15 and when I went to look into the guardianship, I learned that my sister had already obtained guardianship in 2002. NO ONE IN OUR FAMILY KNEW THIS, as our niece continued to live with her grandmother (our mother) right up and until her death in 2006.

My niece does not want to live with this sister, and my niece's mother was adamant about not wanting this sister to have her daughter, because of the out-of-control anger that this sister has had all of her life. I want my niece, but I am having an extremely difficult time getting her.

My sister has also forged a bank document to get funds out of my brother's account by declaring him dead. She had power-of-attorney over this brother, but he had that revoked. She then forged a quit-claim deed to my mother's house and had the house put in her name.

I am dealing with 2 attorney's already. One regarding my mother's will and the other the forged bank document for our brother.

It seems that she is getting away with forging all of these documents to maintain control of situations that really need to change.

I am thinking that if the courts are giving me a difficult time about the guardianship of my niece, perhaps I need to take her to court regarding all of the forged documents. I have lost the opportunity to contest the guardianship issue because she forged my name in the beginning and I was denied the right to contest he ruling.

What can I do. This is in Ohio (Mahoning County). Thank you.
