I filed a breach of contract case in Cook County Circuit Court ( in Skokie, Ill ) and paid $ 60.00 to Sheriff Office to serve a defendant.
Now, about a month later they posted a reason " no contact " for not serving a defendant and I was told that I should pay an additional $ 66.00 so they could try to serve again which would not guarantee an actual accomplishment. I strongly believe that defendant is simply hiding from the sheriff and trying to prevent that. What should I do? Thank you. |
