After completing LL. B course, can anyone start practicing as a lawyer?
Hi, I was looking for some information about lawyers' practice convention and I found this forum. Perhaps the site would be helpful for me.
My younger sister intends to study LL.B. Unfortunately in our family no one is linked with law profession. So, we almost know nothing about lawyers' related stuffs.
Say, she would complete LL.B in the next four years. Can she start practicing as lawyer as soon as she would obtain LL.B degree? Is it mandatory for her to enroll with the Bar Council of our country for practicing as a lawyer? Besides, for acting as a solicitor who only provides legal advice to the clients but doesn't appear at courts, is enrollment with bar council mandatory?
And what are the benefits for enrollment? By the way I'm from Bangladesh, a neighbor of India. Once British ruled our region, so, our laws are derived mostly from them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes after completion of your degree you will start your own practice. But I will suggest you to work under some senior lawyer so as to get experience.

You can definitely start practice but remember if you are very good in laws and regulations then you wouldn't need any senior help.

My biggest regret about my own time as a law student is that I did not enroll in any trial practice courses…so take advantage of these excellent courses and get valuable trial experience as a law student.
