    Law School Rankings - Help rate the top schools

    This post is intended to rank the top law schools throughout North America. Please feel free to voice your own opinions on which school you feel ranks highest both in the United States and in Canada.

    Schools such as the Harvard Law School are well recognized but we also have realized there are many other schools which might be just as well or even better. Feel free to voice your own opinions on the best ranked law schools in North America below.

    What would be still a reputable school but not as pricey as the ones cited above? Say up to 30k in tuition. How important is it after you have got your degree to come from one of the best schools? Not just to get hired but salary wise too.

    this is definitely the top 5 schools but i would put harvard on the top. I think they are the best and produce the best.

    Definitely the top law schools! I wish I could enter in either of them.

    Don't overlook Boalt

    This is going to seem self-serving (since I teach there), but the best bang for your buck is Berkeley Law. Spend a year establishing California residency and you'll have the opportunity for a remarkable education that will serve you very well in both law firm hiring and clerkships, for a fraction of the cost of the other schools on this list. They also have a pretty exceptional public interest loan forgiveness program.
