i am a webmaster and have been in the business for over 9 years, and have also dealt in domains the buying and selling of, about a year ago, after getting tired of this decided id try driving a cab in my town of Pensacola Florida.

Me with the skills i have of course decided to build a website related to this and in fact bought up a bunch of names related to cabs and taxis in this area.

Over the last couple of weeks i have been threatened with a lawsuit from the owner a cab company here "Pensacola Taxi", who has a com of the same name and a website to go along with it, however his site is not optimised nor does he even have the slightest idea how to get it ranked,

Anyway over the last year i developed PensacolaCab, and PensacolaCabs both Com's along with PensacolaShuttle, he and i have to assume its just being jealous as i get a lot of business from my site and am a independent owner and have in fact helped two other drivers who we have formed our own little team to provide a good quality service to the public, helped them develop and optimise there own sites one being Pensacola Taxi and Shuttle, also a com, we are all at the top of the google, yahoo listings for cab, shuttle, and taxi in the Florida Gulf coast area.

We have Business licences for Pensacola Taxi and Shuttle and Pensacola Cab, anyway the owner of this Company is threatening to sue us over our domain names and websites, and in fact has spread among our fellow cab drivers some very untrue and vicious rumors.

If i am correct in this ? i believe he can do nothing and in fact if he does sue, we can counter sue and own this nuts company, am i correct in this, i am sending a link to the other driver and he may post his info also, he is the one who owns Pensacola taxi and shuttle.

if he does sue would it be reasonable to assume an attorney would take this and collect when we when from the owner of Pensacola taxi ?
