    Suspected Overstay

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen and I went to the U.S. for a visit, and ended up just staying. About 3-4 years ago I came up to Canada for a wedding and the U.S. Customs officer told me they suspected I was an overstay and I had three weeks to go back to Canada. They did let me back into the U.S. after telling me that. Will I be able to go to the U.S. to visit my family for a couple of weeks? I can prove that I'm employed in Canada, and staying put.
    Thanks for any help!

You might want to consult an immigration attorney. I would suggest using Avvo.com to select one according to their history and qualifications.
