I recently received my SSN (mid August), when my employer runs Background check (ADP) on me they are getting an Invalid SSN error.

I contacted both ADP and SSA each of them is asking me to contact the other party.

My employer is telling me they can't keep me unless the background check goes through! What can be done in this situation?
