I need help, should i get a lawyer?

    Here is some background info:
-i'm a futureshop employee (been working for 6 weeks)

OK, so ill start from the beginning. I bought a pair of Bose headphones online but when i got them they were fakes. So i was kind of angry at that so i tried to put it up for sale on craigslist. Couple days later someone replied and wanted to get them from me so i told them to meet me in front of futureshop on the upcoming Saturday when i worked so that we can do the exchange. 2days after the exchange, i felt bad selling him the fake headphones and i'm sure he realized that they were fake. He soon called me and he asked for his money back. However, since im an employee of futureshop i get discounts. I decided to get 2 pairs from futureshop that very same day of the call from him (one was for me and the other was for him) and i told him to meet me on the following Saturday because that was when i work again. Saturday comes by and i told him to meet me outside of futureshop once more so i can gave him the real ones that i have purchased from Futureshop. As i was going to my car to get the headphones (they were in a plastic bag and i also had the receipt in my wallet when i bought the headphones the week before). So i was getting the headphones from my car from one side of the store entrance, i had to walk across to the other side because that was where the mall entrance was located and where i had to meet the craigslist guy. When i walked into the store, the security alarm didn't beep, but when i walked out of the store on the other side, it beeped. (at that time i totally ignored the beep because i knew i was already 15mins late to meet him and it was cutting into my lunch break time so i was hurrying a lot. 5mins later my manager calls me and asks why i gave someone a pair of Bose headphones etc etc. So that was how i got fired, i was totally innocent, just wanted to fix something that i had done wrong previously. I even showed my manager the receipt for the 2 pairs of headphones i had purchased from the week before but she said it doesn't mean anything because she said i could've taken some headphones 30mins before i met the craigslist guy. I admit i was totally stupid for not stopping but i was in a hurry and i didn't even know it was me that beeped since it didn't when i went into the store. Is there anyway that i can prove this to my manager that this is all a misunderstanding?

I asked her to do a camera check but she refused to. However, she did do an inventory check on the headphones and they were missing 4 pairs. Obviously she blamed it on me. I know she fired me based on that i didn't stop when the alarm sounded and the fact that she was missing 4 pairs of bose headphones in the store. However, that doesn't 100% prove that I was the one that stole it.

So i was wondering if this will be on my employment record if i don't do anything about it. If it will be, then i will do something about it but if it doesn't then i'll just forget about it. Because i really don't think she reported this to the police since that would mean she would have to turn in some video camera evidence but if she did that then she will know that i'm innocent. I'm not really worried about the job, but my employment record. Is this the sort of thing that will be on my record forever and would it be really hard for me to find another job? I'm currently a UNI student and I am very frustrated about this problem. Any help or advice would be great thanks.

Really, you couldn't file a wrongful termination lawsuit since in theory the business can show valiud cause they you "could" of stolen the head phones, that you walked out with the head phones and head phones were missing in inventory. As for your so called employment record, there is no such thing; you just won't be using them as a past job reference on your resume.

Forbes Names Angelina Jolie Most Powerful Celeb in the World

Angelina Jolie has dethroned Oprah Winfrey as the most powerful celebrity in the world on Forbes Magazine's annual list.

In the past 12 months, Jolie earned $27 million, with movies including Wanted, Kung Fu Panda and the upcoming thriller Salt. The magazine also considered the media attention she received after giving birth to twins last

summer, her philanthropic work and her relationship with Brad Pitt (who ranks No. 9 on the list).

But don't break out the tissues for Winfrey just yet. Earning $275 million annually for the past two years, the mogul is still the top earner, with a TV show, monthly magazine, XM satellite Radio deal and TV network partnership

    among her professional pursuits.

Joining the leading ladies on Forbes' list are Madonna (No. 3), Beyonc

You just can't file a Wrongful termination case as everything is obviously against you except the video camera evidence. If the owner is about to register a police case, they need evidence (obviously the video camera is the only evidence).
The thing is you just can't use the 6 weeks of experience in your resume.

If you are more worried about this black mark on your carrier you can be assured that omitting the experience you had at this shop would be enough. Now, if you want to have the justice done and also be proved innocent then just look for a lawyer as they would help you better to sort out your problems.
