severed on position

This is a discussion on severed on position within the Firing and Wrongful Job Terminations forums, part of the Employment Law Forums category; My husband works in CA as a sales person. The company severed him and then replaced him with someone else who is also located in CA. This person who replaced my husband is a friend of the boss. Can they do this? What are our rights?...

What was the reason given for terminating your husband? You should meet with an attorney who specializes in employment cases. The company could have discriminated against your husband and wrongfully terminated him. An attorney will be better suited to help you move forward. Be aware, cases like this could take time. Has your husband found another job? If not and you begin to struggle while waiting for you case to settle, lawsuit funding may be an option for you. It can help you get the money from settlement now. Orchard Legal Funding is a company that specializes in employment cases, like your husband's.
