Bare with me on this.

Simply, My partner and I of 15 years have three paternal Sons aged 1,5 and 8 from our relationship. We have a loving wholesome family lifestyle. Us and our children have healthy relationships and contact with all other members of an extensive family all bar one.

This person is my mother and the Children's grandparent.

We are currently being taken through the courts by her to gain direct access to them against our wishes. She has legal aid and this is the third time she has tried.

Cafcass on previous case gave damming report against my mother and direct access was denied. We have been noted by Cafcass as Welfare issue free and model loving parents

She has a history of alcohol and mental issues. She also assaulted my partner and punched my partner in the face while drunk in front of me and our then 1 year old first son.

It seems we are in the process of having our parental responsibilities taken from us. The courts seem to be railroading us to the point that they are forcing us to let a person who we dislike , distrust and has been a destructive influence in our lives for the last 10 years see our children against our will.

This can't be right.... what can we do?
