    Is This Descrimination??

Is my mom being descriminated? She has been working at a popular fast food restaurant for 13 years! 2 months ago she was diagnosed with cancer.....she had some kind of a small surgery and was told she could be able to work!!!She went back to work but management and employees have been acting rude and making comments like..."if you feel sick dont come to work, dont you have sons and daughters to support you economically?"(employee) or management team giving her only 2 days of work when doctor said she could work full time!! or making comments about her beeing very sensetive because of her health problem!! It gets to the point where she has come home crying!!! is she beeing descriminated?

It might be. It could be a hostile work environment. It might be discrimination if they are trying to get her to quit by bullying her. It also depends on whether she needs reasonable accommodations and whether they are providing them. She should contact HR. This is a large chain? There will be an HR department she can contact privately.

Simple answer is no. Illegal discrimination gender, race, sexual orientation or disability is based.
    None apply here.
