Company is not paying my money back.
Hello
I am an international citizen working for an american company in US.
I was on furlough from feb 09 and my company decided to file for my H1-B sponsorship to be filed
on April 1st 2009 for FY2010.But they told me I have to bear the attorney fee to which I agreed,
since H1-B filing should be done only in the case where they can extend my job offer.I paid the
attorney fee($1500) and suddenly on mar 27the they decided to lay off everyone on the furlough
program, hence i am out of the company.I asked them whether they would return my attorney fee and
they told that I should contact attorney for this and check if he's ready to give the money back.
But since the attonery prepared all the paperwork needed to file for my sponsorship he said
he won't give the money and its the same answer i heard from my company that they won't give me
any money.SO I want to file a case against my Employer but not sure under which category it
comes under. Can anyone please help me how to proceed further.I don't think I will be able
to approach an attorney for this cause its quite expensive.I would really appreciate your help in this matter.
thanks
Sree

Under Shop & Establishment ACT - Salary Wages have to be paid before 10th of every month. Hope you have signed Attendance Register regularly. If there is no resonse in your favour you have to move the Labour Officer by lodging your grievance complaint and persue the same vigourously.

A money back guarantee is essentially a simple guarantee that, if a buyer is not satisfied with a product or service, a refund will be made.
