Is it worth getting an attorney if you get a DUI for the 1st time ever. I have a Class A commercial & a work as a driver for pepsi. If I do get one can they remove the DUI... I did a day in jail & I'm really sorry & thankful that I didn't kill or hurt anyone. I did learn my lesson. Especially because my license is my bread & butter..????

Thumbs up Re : Dui attorney

Yes. You work for a major corporation. You may lose your license for a while, if they haven't taken it already (depends on the state and so forth).

If you get a lawyer, he/she may convince the judge to let it slide...if you really mean that you won't do it again

Default DUI lawyer for first offense DUI.

Whether or not you work for a major corporation makes no difference in whether or not you retain the services of a DUI attorney if you want to have the best possible chance of a successful defense of your DUI case, you must have a qualified DUI lawyer on your side.

Were you driving a CMV when you were arrested for your DUI or were you driving a passenger vehicle? If you were driving a CMV, you will no longer be able to obtain a CDL.

A DUI offense is never one that should be taken lightly...there can be many consequences that stem from a DUI charge, even if it is only your first one. Your career as being a Class A commercial driver is based on your ability to drive. It is possible that your commercial driver’s license could be suspended; and given the fact that this is, the way you make a living it could have a major impact. The key thing is to have an experienced and qualified DUI attorney on your side to represent you and to guide you through this process...
