Is it worth getting an attorney if you get a DUI for the 1st time ever. I have a Class A commercial & a work as a driver for pepsi. If I do get one can they remove the DUI... I did a day in jail & I'm really sorry & thankful that I didn't kill or hurt anyone. I did learn my lesson. Especially because my license is my bread & butter..????

Yes. You work for a major corporation. You may lose your license for a while, if they haven't taken it already (depends on the state and so forth).
If you get a lawyer, he/she may convince the judge to let it slide...if you really mean that you won't do it again Dui attorney |

Whether or not you work for a major corporation makes no difference in whether or not you retain the services of a DUI attorney if you want to have the best possible chance of a successful defense of your DUI case, you must have a qualified DUI lawyer on your side.
Were you driving a CMV when you were arrested for your DUI or were you driving a passenger vehicle? If you were driving a CMV, you will no longer be able to obtain a CDL. Last edited by sklaw : 10-03-2008 at 03:57 PM. |
