i had believedyself to be divorced my should be exhusband is in ca while im in tn. he told me he took care of everything and i was told our divorce was final. i meet somone great months later we married. now my ex hears and comes forwaed saying he lied never filed the paper and that we are not divorced, me and my new husband are lost on what to do.

Has your ex-husband agreed to file the papers? If not, ask for his signature and file them yourself. What state did you live in with your ex and get married in?

You should know that annulment like in your case cannot be done without both man and wife appearing in front of a judge. A judge may decide to make you live together for some more time along with therapy or something like that so that the couple could explore the possibility of future in the marriage.
Anyways you should get it done now as soon as possible to avoid further complexities.
