I filed for divorce and child custody in the county I live in, I informed my soon to be ex-wife and also had her served a couple of weeks after the file date. soon as I told her she ran down to her local court house in her county and filed for the same. My county gives 30 calendar days to respond and if she doesnt she gets entered into default. Her county gives a mediation date 30 days after filing. That puts her mediation date 2 days before my 30 calander day time frame to respond. Because I filed first does that make her file null and void? need some insight about this, thank you
