False statements and wiritngs question.
I recently been charged with false statement and writings 1 count. I used to work for the sheriff's office that charged me with this, so they are working with me on when I can turn myself in. My question is, is it wise to go ahead now and get a attorney or should I just let things go as they come. I plan on bonding out due to the fact I used to work there and they gave me the bond amount over the phone. Even though I worked on the other side of the law, I don't know much from the current side. Can anyone suggest anything?
