Fake your death being forced

Hi. I came across this forum because I need a proffesional answer regarding a very difficult problem. I hope you can help me.

The problem is the following

Is it legal in U.S to fake your own death if the reason which leads you to do it is serious? - If you received death threats. Is it legal?

Whose help and protection would you need in this case?

No it is not legal that you get the death threads from somewhere.If you go then you talk cope about this.I tell you one thing in the criminal matters the State has responsibility to give you justice.So it is not legal from any law.I am lawyer as well.

Thank you, Michael. I know death threats are illegal, yes. But I need to know if a death threat foorces you to fake your own death - the fact of faking your death would be illegal in this case?
