    dna and probation --concern

I have been on probation since June 2009 with the US probation office for a NON violent crime, which I pleaded guilty to save legal fees and I even helped and witnessed for the US government.

I was told by my probation officer that they will need to take a DNA sample soon.

I am NOT afraid of anything from my past as I have never done anything to worry about DNA haunting me. However based on my past experience with the "judicial" system and knowing computers and those "very educated" persons in charge of data entry...I worry of being falsely matched with some past or future crime I did not commit.

    Any thoughts anyone?

    Thank you and GOD bless

Well, to not give DNA will be a violation of your sentencing agreement. If you break that agreement, the US Attorney's office might make a move to incarcerate you.

False positives on DNA are extremely rare. Think about this: there are a LOT of people that have been cleared by DNA evidence that could have FRIED.

If you were a suspect in a crime that you did not commit, would you want to give up your DNA sample? I know I would...
