In December 2007, I was arrested for 2 counts of Child endangering. It was my second arrest for this so I was charged with felonies. The details of the charge detailed that I was passed out intoxicated while home alone with my children. The first time it happened in 2005, I had consumed the alcohol while home alone with the kids. I was charged with a misdemenor. The second time, I was already passed out when I was left alone with the kids. The beginning of January 08, I had a preliminary hearing, I was still incarcerated at the time. My court appointed attorney comes up to me and states that the prosecutor is offering me house arrest in exchange for waiving my preliminary hearing. I was assured that I could go home and that I would be able to make payment arrangements after I was released with the house arresting authority. So I accepted. After signing the paper.
