15 charges of stat sodomy/child molestation/sex exploitation of a minor

Okay so my ex husband has been in jail for nearly a year over charges brought up by his then girlfriand about her children. His mother tries to keep me updated bt she doesnt give me information i feel that as the mother of his children i have the right to know. I visit his file on casenet frequently and have seen many sudden changes that have only added to my million questions about this. So lets start at the beginning.

He was charged originally with 6 counts of this:
-Stat Sodmy-1st-Dev Sex Intr W/Prs < 14-Ser Phy Inj/Dspl Deadly Weap/Dng Inst/Sbj Vic Intr W/> Than One Per/Vic < 12 { Felony Unclassified RSMo: 566.062 }

now the display of a deadly weapon was news to me because that was never mentioned by his mother, is it possible that if he had his (illegal) buck knife in his pocket when arrested then thats where this charge comes from?
also what kind of sentence does this particular charge carry and would they be consecutive, as in __ years PER charge? Also if convicted what does that mean for his own children? No contact whatsoever? Rights taken away?

He was offered a plea bargain of 25 years but refused it. Apparently his Public Defender doesnt fight for his case, which i am on the fence about, i dont like to think my kids father could do this but i bvelieve people that DO this should burn. They wouldnt keep him in jail this long on a 250,000 bond if they didnt have evidence supporting it right? because his mother told me when she reviewed the files that they reported no findings in the girls physical exam.... would they still hold him without proof or is she just blowing smoke up my ass abotu what she read?

theres also more, and i know this is alot of questions but as i said.... i get very little info.

yesterday i looked up his file on casenet again and found that the state ADDED more charges. added one more stat sod charge PLUS 2 charges of sexual exploitation of a minor AND 2 charges of child molestation in the 1st degree.

ON TOP OF THAT they added a whole new DATE of incedents which include 2 more counts of child molestation of the 1st degree and 2 more charges of stat sod 1st degree.


Can anyone tell me what i am looking at to happen to him? I mean I just need to know, he was a cheating perv, which is why he is my EX, and he was really into those ""barely legal" magazines, but.... he just doesnt seem to be the type that would do somethign as VIOLENT as sodomy. I need to know what to expect for my kids lives.

one more question bouncin around in my brain. With charges like these against a child under 14, will his parental rights be stripped away upon convictions? My boyfriend wants to adopt my children (we have one child together and he has a child from a previous relationship) and i klnow it cant be done unless he gives up rights. Would something like this open the door for him to adopt the kids?

Do you really know that guy? Well I think the charges against him are true for there are several cases for molestation that had been filed
