Today was yet another court date. The lawyer was unable to make it because he had a case being seen in the federal court. If the lawyer is unable to make it, doesnt the case get suspeneded? Surprisngly the judge this time did not suspend the case and started proceding. Acompanying the man being acused was his family. One of those family members waited outside the court room in the lobby. Before I knew it there was screaming and aurging. When I went outside the one man was surounded by 5 cops all pushing and hitting him. I clearly heard one officer say to an insant bystandard "if you know whats good for you you will leave" They claimed this man was taking pictures of them. Is that aloowed, can you take pictures of police? I went inside to get the rest of the family. I was then pushed by 2 officers to get out of the way. There were many cops all armed pushing and hitting the entire family. Once everything settled down everyone was put infront of the judge. The judge then wanted to arrest the 2of the men and none of the officers. Instead of any arrest the 2 men were sitated(I think thats the correct word).
This is taking place in Puerto Rico. I am an American born and raised in the states. I have never seen anything like this!! Is there anything I can do? Anybody I can call? I really need some advice this stuff is going too far!
