I was orginally charged with 4 felonies and 2 misdemeanors for using a computer to commit a crime, obtaining a script by fraud and attempting to obtain by fraud. I was offered one of two choices by the prosecutor. I could either plead to one felony and have it expunged after 5 years or plead to 2 misdemeanors. I chose the misdemeanors because my attorney said that I will be less likely to do jail time with that. I am a first time offender. Never been in trouble with the law before, not even a speeding ticket. I am in rehab (started on my own), I take weekly urine tests which have all come out clean and I've stayed out of trouble. My attorney says that, more than likely, I will be put on probation, be required to stay in rehab, continue to do random urine tests and possibly community service. I will also lose my driver's license because this is a drug offense. If the judge does order any jail time, my attorney said that it will probably be a suspended sentence and he'll hold it over my head until I've completed my probation. What kind of sentence do you think I'll receive?
