I have been on ebay since 1999. (nearly a decade) I have 100% feedback. I have been a watch collector, enthusiast most of my adult life I buy, sell and trade. I also sell for people on consignment and I am an ebay trading assistant.
In May of 2008 , I realized that ebay had put restrictions on my account and I am unable to list many items I have sold in the past and would like to continue to sell. I feel I have established a successful and positive record on ebay - however - I am constantly unable to list items, I have some items removed under the Vero rules - although, my items are all authentic with my own pictures etc.
Emails, calls, requests to review my account are to no avail. Robotic, canned remark, speeches to me from ebay made me realize, that they were not review ing my record at all, obviously not hearing any of my points or arguments.
Eventually, frustrated, I emailed every executive I could at ebay. I received a reply very quickly - and was told "not to email multiple executives at ebay in the future". When I advised that I did that because ebay does NOT have Customer Service or anything that resembles it, I was told, that I "may have gotten attention, but it was negative". Additionally, I was told via email from "office of the president", That by emailing multiple executives, that was "inappropriate". I, obviously am shocked at the behaviour towards a long time client of their's and one who has a solid record over 9+ years. At this time - they take my fees, yet I am unable to sell the type of product I specialize in and it has affected my income and reputation.
It has damaged my reputation in the watch community as people do not understand why I am unable to list items for them, when I have a good record.
I have all of the emails from ebay, I simply cannot understand when I have 851 positive feedback rating, nearly 10 years of 100% feedback - was a power seller and had an ebay store and I am not permitted to sell on ebay and users with less time and less positive feedback ratings are able to list items that I am not permitted to.
Any input, and or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I have much more to add as far as , by taking down my listings they have marked my account with a violation and closed my ebay store and took away my power seller status and I feel I have no recourse.
