Unhappy Abstract of Judgment

I had a repossession back in 2002. As a result, an Abstract of Judgment was filed against me at the local county. Since then, I have moved out of state. I recently applied and was approved for another car loan and as a result, I believe, the lawfirm which original represented the previous creditor was able to to obatin my information including work number.

I received a letter at home which indictaed that if I did not contact them that they would garnish my wages and/or assets I own. They also mentioned that they would doemstic the judgment if need be. Since the judgment is set to fall off of my credit in May of 2009, I was wondering what the chances were that they would domestic the judgment so late in the game.

Help,
Thanya
