    Lost my court case: collections

I quit my job 4 years ago due to sexual harassment. I did not want to file a suit against my employer, instead I shrugged off my bills and lived at an exotic animal sanctuary until I got tired of it and was taken in by some people, who I lived with for another 2 years.

From there, a family from my church took me in, and now I help them with their food ministry, by driving the bottled water truck filled with food to our church, and help with food distribution to other churches.

I have a criminal record and have not been able to find work at all. It has been almost 5 years since I have had a job.

When I had my job, I had A-1 credit, and I financed a motorcycle, which I voluntarily repossessed after I lost my job. However, it was not enough to satisfy the $5,000 I owed.

So, they sued me, and I did my best to figure out how to represent myself, but in the end I missed the court date and I lost.

Now, they sent me a letter saying I lost my case and they want a "response"?

I have several vehicles, but none of them are worth more than $300. They are essentially scrap metal and have no value on the market. I own some beat up guitar amplifiers, but nothing of any real value.

What is going to happen, now? I honestly don't have anything worth taking. I don't anticipate having a job any time soon.

What do I do now? I don't even have enough money for a bankruptcy lawyer. I have a lot of other small loans, and even a few credit cards, all under $2,000. I also have some medical bills totaling about $50,000.

I used to have A-1 credit but I guess those days are over.

    What is a "response"?
