Power of attorney...
i am a state certified general contractor in florida... my friend wants me to sign a power of attorney so he can use my license to practice construction at his will... most likely i am not going to do it... but was curious if it is even legal to do that... its like if i was a doctor and signed a power of attorney for him to practice medicine...
was curious if its legal, and if theres a state statute that says it...
thanks

He would still need the license but he can handle financial matters on your behalf as your power of attorney agent. For example its common for people to appoint an agent using a power of attorney form to give some one the legal authority to sell or buy a house on their behalf.
