I own a company, and we employ an attorney in California (we are based in california). We need to start filing cases in Nevada, Florida, Arizona and Colorado. I have looked at multi-jurisdictional applications, but it seems to me they all require an attorney in state to file. Anyone have experience filing in multiple jurisdictions? Advice on how to do this? Thanks, Jason |

The only way I was able to do it when I practiced was to hire local counsel.

The important point to remember is that if you do not put up a legal fight they can get at the bank records and see where you wired the money. They will have to go country hoping to chase these funds and this is expensive but they may do this. You always have to stay two hops ahead of them, one is not enough

hi everybody,
An attorney is free to draw up a contract that allows for a certain amount down and certain amounts to be paid at various intervals. Some attorneys will do this with certain types of matters.
