    If you want to keep anything with a secured loan in Chapter 7, you have to reaffirm the loan during the bankruptcy (which means you agree to pay that debt).

    A trustee is appointed who collects all non-exempt property, sell assets and distribute proceeds of the sale to creditors appropriate. Chapter 7 is different from other bankruptcy because the debtor does not need to make a payment to the trustee.
