Can the insurance company of the person who "totaled" my motorcycle withhold payment?

Can the insurance company of the person who "totaled" my motorcycle withhold payment because I didn't have a motorcycle endorsement on my license?

Recently while I was at work, a co-worker backed into my parked motorcycle causing it to be totaled. I filed a claim with my co-workers insurance company and they informed me that they would not release the funds because I don't have a motorcycle endorsement on my license thus, "The bike shouldn't have been there."

    What is my best recourse?

    Hi Mate

The insurance companies sees alternatives to reject. But I think it is unfair on their part to say like that.

You need to consult with an accident attorney in your area so you
can explain the case and get the valuable advice you
need. I wish you the best.
