Ok, so here's the situation. I was recently in an automotive accident. Long story short, I came to an, stopped, looked both ways and then proceeded across the intersection. Midway across I hit another car in the driver side that was traveling in the perpendicular direction to me. Here are the specifics of the incident:

- I stopped, looked both ways at a stop sign. The strreet that I entered onto to travel through did not have a stopsign at that intersection, so the right of way went to the other vehicle.
- It was early in the morning (between 6:30 and 6:45am) and the vehicle did not have its lights on.
- When I hit the individual the driver pleaded with me not to call the cops due to not having a license and no insurance.
-The driver moved the car before the police arrived to a location nearly a half a block away to the apartment they had came from.
- I called the cops, the individual was cited for no license or insurance.

Anyway, figured that was it. I'd pay my deductible and they'd have no claim..BUT now the police reports states there were medical injuries/claims. Here are the facts (well, according to me about that)
- The individuals never stated any injuries to me or the police before I left the scene (at the policeman's permission)
- The passenger in the other car stated incapacitating injuries and needed to be moved by EMS..when that said individual walked nearly a block to find insurance papers and registration they conveniently left in their apartment and then walked back.
- The driver of the other car had 'unspecified injuries' when the individual was walking around fine between his car and mine before the cops came. As well as returning from the apartment he was at on foot.

In no way, shape, or form did these people appear to be injured at all. There were no claims made initially nor in my presence to the police. Apparently all of these claims were made after I was allowed to leave the scene (which I did no ask to do, I was simply told I could leave after all necessary information was obtained between myself and the other party, and the policeman had all the necessary information). Am I legitimately liable for these injuries?
