I feel like it's a tough case to prove. Although I sympathize with the loss of your pet, how can you really prove in court that the car was speeding?

Pet hit by car and died

First of all I deeply sympathize with the loss of your pet...but how are you going to prove that the car was wrong?Your dog also ran into the car isn't it?

Unless your animal was hit on private property you really have no case; the animal isn't considered a pedestrian and doesn't fall under specific driving laws. Your pet should of been leashed and not in the middle of the street. I'm sorry for your loss, but this would be considered the owners fault and not the drivers.

Pet hit by car and died

I also do not see any case here...and there are also strict guidelines for the pets to move around...you will not get clearance there and if it is not a private vehicle...difficult to prove...try it anyways.
