is my girl covered by my insurance?
Hi, I bought a new insurance for my car. If my girl drives the car, is she then insured by my insurance or do she need an insurance of her own?

This really depends on your insurance company and the type of insurance you have. Most insurance companies do not cover drivers under 25 on full coverage policys, while some don't insure other drivers at all. Usually, you'll need to add her as a driver to your plan in order to make sure she is fully covered.

Hi
It is not like that if you insured the car your girls will also be covered with that policy. It depends upon that what type of the insurance policy you have taken. If they dont cover the life insurance of the driver then you go for separate insurance of your daughter.

Is my girl covered by my insurance?
It is the car which is insured...it can be driven by anyone. The claim will have to be made by you if the documents are in your name.

Even I think so that it all depends on your insurance policy and company.

It definitely depends on the insurance policy but most insurance follows the vehicle so it does not matter who was driving.
