Passports evidencing Australian Visa (Skilled Independent) lost

We are Indian nationals and were granted (primary applicant + 3 family members) a Class BN Subclass 136 Skilled - Independent Visa in January
2007. The evidence of the visa was placed in our passports and we made our initial entry to Australia in August 2007.

This year during our vacation, one of our bags containing our passports (with the Australian visa) was stolen at the Stockholm airport. The matter was reported to the Swedish police but unfortunately the stolen bag was not recovered.

Please advise the way forward in order to report this incident to the relevant Australian authority. Do we need to get fresh visas evidenced in our new passports?

    Your support is highly appreciated.

    Thanks & Regards
    Ravi Shankar

I'm agree with "filozima", it is better to ask an immigration consultant. On that way they can help you on the thing that needs to be done, aside from that they will assist you on everything for you to be able to get the legal papers in exchange for the stolen visa.
