IELTS Result Submitted After Application Filed

    Hi All,

I Have read in one of the forums that:

"you must have your IELTS result when
you apply for your visa. If your IELTS test date is after the date you applied for your visa it will be refused."

Does that mean even if you submitted the IELTS test results few days after the lodgment of the application but the actual date you have taken the test was before lodgment, you will not be refused on these grounds?

As in my case, I had taken the test on 15th Dec 2007 and was awaiting results.
Meanwhile i lodged the application with DIAC under subclass 175 and it was received by them on 24th Dec 2007.

I got the results in the start of january 2008 and I submitted as soon as i received them. Hence, my test date was before lodgment but result date was few days after lodgment.

I belong to a High Risk country. It has been more than a year since i am waiting for the CO to be assigned.

Would my application be refused even though...?

    Desperately awaiting a reply.
    Thnx in advance.
