I am currently a Canadian living in Miami. As sports cars are quite a bit cheaper here in Miami than they are in Toronto I would like to purchase my next vehicle (and also boat) in this area and drive it back to Canada in a few months.

My questions are:

1) Do I need to declare this at the US / Canadian border?

2) Do I need any special documents filled out before crossing the border?

3) What will I be charged for importing a vehicle(s) into Canada.

4) Do I need to make any changes to the emissions system etc.?

5) I understand that the speedometer will be in miles and there is no problem finding a replacement into KM's but is this a necessary procedure?

6) If I decide to sell the vehicle after importing into Canada will I have any problems?

Any help is appreciated, I will most likely be buying a vehicle between $30,000 - $40,000 USD (used) and also a fishing boat in the $15,000 - $20,000 range.
