hi all,
I have been living in a home from many years on rent. then, I gave up the apartment downstairs and moved upstairs. then the landlord rented the apartment to a couple. but were never told to get their own mailbox, over the last month on several occasions our newspaper has been missing, i found it in their garbage. Do I have the right to contact my landlord and tell him to tell the downstairs tenants that they are no longer allowed to use my mailbox?
I recently spoke to a Police officer about my rights as a tenant, he said I have zero rights to confront the people that live downstairs,
Can someone please tell me what rights I have on the mail situation?
