My friend was involved in a rear end collision in Ontario in which she was deemed 0% at fault. She suffered a category 3 whiplash and has been severely affected by it. As such, she would prefer to move back to New Brunswick as she would have her family more readily available and could more easily recover from her injuries.

She has been informed that this would be unwise as it could negatively impact her claim for damages against the other driver's insurance. Does anyone know the regulations in this regard or a good resource to get an opinion on this?
